CANCELLATION POLICY

The cancellation policy for treatments is 48 hours.

Emergencies occasionally happen with animals. In the event of needing to cancel with less than 48 hours notice, please contact Charlotte as soon as possible to reschedule.

If your animal is lame on the day of treatment and has not been assessed by a veterinarian then Charlotte will unfortunately be unable to treat but a reduced fee of £10 will be charged for assessment.

Data is collected from you, your veterinary surgeon and other paraprofessionals involved with the treatment of your animal.

Treatment is performed after receiving a veterinary consent form under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and subsequent Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order 2015. These forms are stored on a password protected account; with sole access available to the data controller.

Treatment notes will be produced following each treatment of your animal to monitor progress. These notes are kept for a minimum of 7 years after the final treatment and may be shared with your veterinarian or other ancillary professionals.

Personal information including your address, phone number and email address is stored in a password protected account. All electronic devices are password protected.

Photographs and videos of your animal may be taken, stored on a password protected account and shared on social media or this website with your consent to monitor treatment or for marketing purposes.

Clients are permitted to exercise the following rights at any time:

Request copies of your personal data and update any inaccurate or incomplete information.
Request that your personal data is transferred to another organisation or yourself in certain circumstances.
Request that your personal data is erased or not processed in certain circumstances and considering the lawful requirements of a McTimoney animal chiropractor.
